DYNAMIC STRETCHING VS STATIC

Both stretching types will benefit you by

  • Increasing range of motion

  • Elongating muscles fibre

  • Decrease muscle and fascia adhesions

  • Facilitate correct biomechanical positioning

When to utilise each type

Dynamic is most useful before exercise, not only will it improve your mobility, but it will also improve blood flow to your muscles and heart, this will prep your body for the upcoming activity and decrease the likely hood of injury. Dynamic stretching is also useful as a progression of static stretching. Once adequate range of motion has been attained through static stretching, dynamic stretching can be applied to assist in multi planar movement and increased difficulty. The body is in a constant state of adaptation, exercises and stretches need to always be progressed to ensure positive adaption continues.

7 day Meal Plan

Sometimes the hardest part of the day is simply deciding what to eat! That’s where I come in.

By filling out a quick questionnaire about your food preferences and habits, I can create a personalised, nutritious weekly meal plan to keep you feeling nourished and organised all week long.

Pathology Testing

Nutritional reference ranges differ from standard pathology ranges, as they use a narrower scope to help identify early imbalances before they become bigger issues. Specific supplementation will be recommended to address any deficiencies which are present.  If you have recent pathology results, you’re welcome to send them through and we can review and discuss them together during a consultation.

If necessary an initial nutrition consult may be recommended to get a greater understanding on why deficiencies may be occurring.
